01 Information We Collect

AeroVPN Shield processes limited information required to provide the VPN service and support core app functions, including:

  • Basic app and device information that may appear in operational diagnostics or support context.
  • VPN connection information such as selected region, connection state, connection start time, exit IP address shown in the app, and upload or download traffic statistics displayed during an active session.
  • Technical configuration information required to establish the tunnel, such as gateway host, port, username template, password template, and a device-local session code used to build the connection profile.
  • Diagnostic information generated on the device and used to identify crashes, connection failures, or service errors.
  • Support information you choose to send to us, such as feedback or emails.

The app does not currently provide account registration. This release does not currently integrate advertising, analytics, attribution, or crash reporting SDKs such as AdMob, Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, or Facebook services.

02 VPN and Network Data

AeroVPN Shield routes network traffic through a VPN tunnel in order to provide the core service. The app itself is not designed to read or store the content of websites, messages, or files that pass through the tunnel.

Network traffic must pass through the VPN or proxy infrastructure used to provide the service, and the relevant infrastructure provider may process network requests and connection metadata as necessary to transmit traffic, authenticate access, operate the network, detect abuse, or comply with law.

03 How We Use Information

  • To provide, maintain, and secure the VPN service.
  • To troubleshoot connection issues and improve product stability.
  • To store your selected region and stable device-local session code so the app can reconnect consistently.
  • To respond to support requests and operational inquiries.
  • To prevent abuse, fraud, or unauthorized use of the service.

04 Permissions

The app requests permissions necessary for its core functions, including VPN permission to create and manage the secure tunnel, notification permission to show required foreground service notifications, and network-related access used to detect connectivity state and maintain the service.

05 Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose or make limited information available only when reasonably necessary to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, protect the service, or respond to valid requests from authorities.

  • VPN or proxy infrastructure providers may receive connection credentials, session-related values, routing requests, and traffic needed to provide the tunnel service.
  • Public IP lookup or connectivity verification services may receive technical requests made to confirm tunnel reachability and determine the VPN exit IP address.
  • Email providers may process information you include if you contact us through your mail app.

06 Third-Party Services and SDKs

This release does not currently integrate advertising, analytics, attribution, or crash reporting SDKs such as AdMob, Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, or Facebook services. Relevant third-party policy references may include Google Play Services, AdMob, Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, and Facebook if they are added in a future version.

07 Data Retention

Region selection, device-local session code, and encrypted connection provisioning values are stored on the device until you clear app data or uninstall the app, unless replaced by a newer value. Temporary in-memory connection state exists only while the service is active.

08 Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

09 Your Choices

You can stop using the VPN service at any time, disconnect the tunnel in the app, or remove locally stored app data by clearing app storage or uninstalling the app.

10 Children

The service is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so that we can review and remove it where appropriate.

11 International Use

Because the VPN service may involve servers, proxy gateways, or technical providers in different jurisdictions, information may be processed in countries other than your own, subject to applicable law.

12 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted in the app or on the relevant page, and the new effective date will be shown above.
